I have decided to start up a new blog, dedicated to programming with Smart – www.smartprogrammer.org. If you are using the Smart Mobile Studio or if you think that programming mobile applications with Pascal is an interesting idea, make sure to bookmark it.
I will however not move all my Smart-related posts there, most important stuff will also be published here.
My book about the Smart is now available – read more in my post on the new blog. [But feel free to comment here, if you want.]
And the last but not least – I have created a Twitter account. (Took me a long time, I know.). Follow me @thedelphigeek and you’ll get notifications about the OmniThreadLibrary, A Smart Book and more.
I ve posted comment on leanpub site:
ReplyDeleteImho, book defenitely need samples about integrating pascal-based application with some third-party js libraries, like ExtJS/Sencha, maybe map API, Google Docs API, etc..
External JS libraries is VCL for web)
Good point, I will add this to the chapter list.
DeleteThe name "Smart Mobile Studio" is a little confusing. From your book I learned it targets both desktop and mobile devices. But the name sounds like it is specifically for mobile devices. Also could you help educate me what is the difference it is with Morfik or UniGui?
ReplyDeleteThose are question for the authors - go to http://op4js.optimalesystemer.no/forums/ and as there.
DeleteAs I can tell, the product is called "Mobile" because it primarily targets mobile devices.
Besides dear gabr I am wondering about your omnithread lib book?
ReplyDeleteI am now working on the ForEach chapter. After that, I have to finish the Fork/Join chapter and after that I'll release the first version of the OTL book.
DeleteCannot wait for you OmniThread Book! Looking forward to it.
